Caden Becher was a miracle, at least according to the story that his parents would tell through the years. Hiram and Ayala Becher were a young couple who wanted nothing more than the joy of being able to bring a child into the world, both were equipped with boundless amounts of love and caring in which to shower their much wanted offspring. The first time that Ayala was pregnant, the pair were overjoyed, imagining ways that their lives would change in each and every aspect. Their joy however was short lived as early on in the pregnancy, Ayala miscarried, an unfortunate and non-explainable circumstance that would happen for the Bechers’ twice more. Both were devastated beyond belief and decided together that they would stop trying, the heartbreak was something that neither could take any more of.

As much as the pair had painfully had to step up to what they saw as the truth, that no matter how bad they both wanted a child, it was perhaps something not in the cards for the two, and had begun to look into adoption once they felt ready, a journey that took nearly two years. Still, Ayala could not ignore the symptoms that she felt, and saw her doctor who confirmed that she was once again pregnant. News that normally would be touted in celebration was met with much hesitance, as she wondered how long her body would be able to house this baby before deciding that it no longer could. Even sharing the news with her husband was less than a joyous instance, but the two still highly committed to their Jewish faith, prayed, just as they did with the other children, while there wasn’t much belief that things would happen, there was faith, hope, and love.

Reaching certain benchmarks with her pregnancy, further than she had before, started to fill Ayala with a renewed sense of hope, which she chose to embrace, rather than give in to the nagging woes in the back of her head. Finally, after an extremely arduous journey one that included the last eight weeks of pregnancy on bed rest for Ayala, who was considered high risk, Caden Avraham Nissim Becher wailed his way into the world, a sound so beautiful, that the new parents thought they would never be able to hear. Caden was a good baby, a very spoiled and coddled baby who was never out of the arms of Hiram or Ayala, the tiny little miracle that they would never be able to believe that they had created, all of their hopes and dreams that had been placed into an actual person.

Growing up, Caden was a ‘good’ child, who did what he was told and never felt the need to question authority, the type of child that did what was asked of him, in essence he was a very boring child, but to his parents of course, he was absolutely perfect. He was however the type of child that questioned everything, from the moment that he could speak, every other question out of his mouth was why, and how, how come and what reason? He grew up with an innate need to know how things worked, how they fit together and how they were able to be put back together after being taken apart. Inquisitive was too simple a word when it came to encompassing his constant thirst for knowledge. From an early age his parents assumed that with all of the questions and needing to know things, that maybe their son would enter a field of engineering, or science, mathematics maybe, they envisioned a lot of things for his future, none of which however included acting.

It was almost completely accidental, the way that Caden discovered acting, having tagged along with a friend who needed a ride to an audition, and in some weird twist of events that he’ll tell you he doesn’t even completely recall, he was somehow convinced to read for the part of Justin Walker on a show called Brothers and Sisters, and after some immense charm on his part and talent that he didn’t even know that he had, somehow ended up getting cast in the part. It was, the opportunity that would change his life in more ways than one, not only would acting be something that Caden would fall absolutely in love with, it was also the place where he would meet the love of his life, actress Addilyn Walton who would end up being cast as his love interest on the show, and in a true feat of life imitating art, the two would begin a relationship that currently spanned over six years.
